BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY

A FIRST IMPRESSION LASTS 50 MILLISECONDS.

Are you making the most of it?

Fifty milliseconds. That's how long you have to draw in your customers and create a first impression. What are you doing to grab their attention? To impress them?

Reading a text block takes minutes, but images can be "read" by the eye in those milliseconds.

Any customer assessing your content is drawn first to the graphic elements on your page. But stock photos underperform — Venngage rates stock photos as the worst-performing of all visual elements.

Investing in visual elements that reinforce your brand's quality in the eyes of your customers is key in influencing customers to choose you over your competitors. A holistic strategy includes visuals to grab that reader's attention and build trust in your brand when you have it.

But beyond just attracting eyeballs, a good brand

photographer will be able to craft images that effectively tell your story.

Ensuring you have evergreen visual elements specific to your product ready to go in your content marketing library is crucial for the success of your socials, website, blog, emails, or other collateral. Are you ready to invest in yourself?

ACCORDING TO HUBSPOT:

• 65% of top marketing executives say that visual storytelling elements like photos are key elements of your brand story;

• Facebook posts including images earn 87% of all engagement on the platform;

• Tweets with images receive 150% more retweets than tweets SANS images;

Give your customers confidence
in the quality of your brand.

When was the last time you made a purchase sight unseen? Customers want to know what they're buying.

If you sell online, your customers can't physically examine the product you're offering before they make a purchase, but never fear! There is still a way to communicate your quality using visual proof.

Close-up, choice photography that captures a 360-view of your product allows your customers to preview your products before buying, as though they were in a store. This is crucial information to give customers to inform their buying decisions. Including it signals that you anticipate and are ready to address your customers' needs to nurture them toward a purchase.

But high-quality photos do more than just let your customers get a closer look at physical products; photos allow your customers to visualize themselves using your products and give them insight into your production process. They increase the professionalism of your brand, building trust.

Brand photos aren't just for those who sell products, though. Service providers also benefit from quality images, which show customers what they are buying by using images to craft a story.

While writers use the medium of words to tell brand stories, photographers use the medium of images to help customers construct a narrative that communicates what a business offers.

Even if your service isn't a product that can be touched, clients still want to be assured of your professionalism and the quality of your work before they book with you. Providing images from a lifestyle session can do this — by capturing you hard at work on their projects.

Regardless of what you sell — physical products, digital products, or professional services — sharing images is critical in nurturing customers. Photos can be used across all marketing channels and in all touch points in the buying process, drawing attention and building trust in every stage of the buyer journey.

Showing your customers what they are getting is necessary to their confidence in your brand. Real photos get real customers. Are you ready to start drawing them in?
